Photojournalist → Recovery Specialist → Designer
My path to UX wasn't a straight line, and that's exactly what shapes how I design. As a photojournalist, I learned to find the story that matters and show it clearly while under pressure. As a recovery specialist, I spent years helping people through some of their hardest moments by listening closely, adapting constantly, and meeting people where they were.
Those instincts of empathy, observation, and clear communication are the same ones I bring to design today at Johnson Health Tech, where I craft experiences across mobile apps and connected hardware used by people around the world.
I work across the full process: research and discovery, wireframing and prototyping, high-fidelity design, all while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and the business. But what I care about most is simple, making experiences that are intuitive, inclusive, and genuinely human.
